In Wello, you can configure the email settings so that emails are sent from a functional email address allowing customers to reply when needed.
Using a functional email address instead of a no-reply address provides several benefits:
Customers can reply directly to your email message
Improves communication between your team and customers
Allows email conversations to continue outside the system if necessary
Even though replies are not processed inside Wello itself, customers will still be able to respond to the email through their normal email application.
How to Configure the Email Sender Address in Wello
Log in to the Wello Portal.
Navigate to Settings in the top-right corner.
Inside Settings, select Get Started.
Click on the General settings tab.
Locate the E-mail settings section.
In the E-mail settings section, update the following fields:
Email "From" display name: Enter the name that should appear as the sender of the email (for example, your company name)
Email "From": Enter the functional email address you want Wello to use when sending emails.
Example:
Display name: Wello Support Team
Email address: [email protected]
When emails are sent from Wello, customers will see this address as the sender and will be able to reply to it.
After updating the email settings, it is recommended to test the configuration.
Scroll to the Verify email connection section.
Use the Send button to send a test email.
After sending the test email, wait a few minutes for the message to be delivered, then check the Inbox of the email address you configured. If the email is not in the Inbox, also check the Spam or Junk folder. If the test email arrives successfully, the email configuration is working correctly.
